Theatreland House to the Renowned TheatresThe west-end of London City Centre houses the city's main theatres. Drury Lane, The Strand, Shaftesbury Avenue form the mettle of the theatres in the city. With more than 40 theatres in the area, the area is rightly called to be Theatreland. From music performances to classical plays, you find everything happening in one or the other theatre. Most of the theatres have Victorian or Edwardian look but they are well maintained and have some of the best facilities available. The fun of watching a play in these theatres is quite different and for anyone London tour can never be complete without a visit to the Victorian or Edwardian built theatres.
